I’m documenting the process of making this website in case anyone is interested to try something similar.

Initially I had in mind to use a free tool designed to make very lightweight websites that work well on super cheap web hosting, but the one I tried turned out not to work well with the way I work. So I went with WordPress.

So far I’ve spent nothing but time on this site, but that’s partly because I already own or routinely pay for the various components I’m using here.

This page and the posts it links to will, over time, document the main decisions, discoveries and questions, both resolved and left open. I hope it’s of use to you!
